Blake Eagal

President

Blake Eagal is the President and co-founder of Coast Home Loans, where he brings over two decades of mortgage mastery, relentless hustle, and just the right amount of dad-joke energy. After launching Coast in January 2024 with his longtime business partner and fellow go-getter Josh Holman, Blake set out to build more than a mortgage company—he built a culture rooted in grit, service, and straight-up results.

A Top 1% Mortgage Originator Nationwide (eight years and counting), Blake has also been ranked among the Top 200 Loan Officers in the U.S. five years running. But what really sets him apart? His reputation for getting even the most complex deals to the finish line—and making it look easy.

Born and raised in Stockton, CA, Blake took his talents to Utah State University, where he played Division I football and was named Male Student Athlete of the Year. These days, he’s still on the field—just with a headset instead of a helmet—as the Defensive Coordinator for St. Mary’s High School Varsity Football, where he’s coached for over 20 seasons.

When he’s not closing loans or coaching linebackers, Blake is off adventuring with his wife Trina and their four awesome kids. Whether it’s family road trips, mortgage milestones, or Friday night lights, Blake brings energy, leadership, and loyalty to everything he does.

Mortgage Calculators

Conventional mortgages are ideal for buyers with good credit and money to put down. They typically require a higher down payment, usually 5%–20% and also have higher income and credit score requirements than government loans. Typical fixed-rate loans have a term of 30 or 15 years.
